Long week!

This past week was rough! I had to close out books since it was the end of the month and it was brutal on the munchkin. She is used to having my undivided attention, so days that I have to work while home with her are no fun. We were super happy when I finished up on Thursday, and was lucky enough to have her great grandparents come visit as well. On Friday we went to the park with some friends. It was beautiful and Lainey got to swing for the first time. She and Julia set in the swing for about an hour without making a single noise. It was so fun to watch. She loves to be outside so this weekend we bought her a little tikes swing and slide. Brian is going to set up a little play area for her over Spring Break so she can play outside as much as she likes. It's amazing how going outside seems to calm her down when she gets upset.

Friday night we went to a soccer game with Brian, it was teacher appreciation night at CP and one of his former students asked him to come. It was very sweet to see that Brian had made such an impact on so many students and Lainey did great. She has been exhausted most of the weekend and very fussy. I'm not sure if it is because she was out late Friday night, if it's the new foods she is trying,  or if it is because she is teething.  I'm so ready for these teeth to come through. She's drooling, chewing on everything, super fussy and having trouble sleeping, but NO TEETH. I don't want them because of the nursing factor, but I am so ready for her to stop being so uncomfortable. She has been going through this for over a month.  She loves eating her baby food, but tries to take over the spoon because she wants to chew on it. This week she ate squash and pears and Wednesday she will try peas. YUCK. I tasted them and was not impressed. I hope she likes them. I'm still making her baby food and  we are loving watching her try new things. She enjoys her high chair and being up at the table with momma and daddy. We love watching this girl grow even though we have some very tough days along the way. She is such a blessing and I am so happy to be home with her.
Such a sweet face! I love this girl!

Mimi and Grandaddy came to visit. She was SO tired when they came.

Sabastian and Jordan. :) Such cuties!

Not quite sure what she thought of it at first, but she ended up loving it!

Swinging with Julia.

They loved being together so much more. They set just like this for almost an hour.

Watching the boys play. I'm sure she wishes she could run along with them.

Sweet Julia!

I love that Lainey has friends that can find fun in the little things like sticks and dirt. TOO CUTE!

Mallory even came to the park. :) It won't be long before she is swinging with  the older baby girls.

I love this picture of Case! Such a sweet boy swinging next to the girls.

We had so much fun at the park and look forward to more beautiful days outside. The weather has been so nice.
