20 weeks with Lainey!
The adorable flower bows I've been making Lainey thanks to a lesson from Jess. This is a great week for many reasons! We are officially out of school until August so that makes life so much more exciting. Brian and I are both working summer school or summer camps, but neither are full time so we've got the flexibility to take care of things that we want to. We celebrated the start of summer by going swimming and out do dinner with friends on Saturday. It was so nice just to enjoy a day off from the all of the things that keep us busy. Yesterday we hit our 20 week mark of pregnancy! That is a huge milestone for us! We are finally starting to feel Lainey kick and move around. She is such an active little girl! Brian has been working away on painting her nursery & I have been sewing all sorts of fun things. Jessica and I are going to work on her crib skirt this afternoon and then I plan to make her curtains this week as well. I start summer school tomorrow, but Brian will be coaching at Baylor's basketball camp this week so I'll have time to work on projects until my heart is content. :) We don't have our 20 week appointment until next Wednesday, but I can't wait to see how much Miss. Lainey has grown since May 12th. I'm finally starting to show so I'm sure she's grown quite a bit. We have so much to be thankful for. Family, friends, a sweet baby girl, and this wonderful thing we call summer are at the top of our list! I'm sure our time off will be over before we know it, but we are going to make the most of our last summer as just us. What an exciting time!
